I thought I had the mother load because I couldn't pull it up. I found out later that I caught a buoy chain. LOL Never said I was the smartest fisherman. But Were gonna put out some pots and hope for the best. The main priority will be the halibut though. *NEVER FORGOTTEN*

I've had a few sea bass from the local beach, and flounder from nearby estuaries. I once caught a great blue shark while on holiday in Cornwall. The big deal in my town is tope- a shark. But a boat is needed to get out there where they feed. Enjoy the fishing trip and take care. Don't preach in my school, or I'll think in your church.

It's made mostly for rivers but it works well in lakes and even the ocean. I don't go out to far and only in good weather. dungeonous crab can be caught pretty close to the shore. They feed on the scrap halibut the comercial fishers throw out. But yeah the good stuff like king crab is pretty far out there. My buddy just bought to used 26 foot Bertrum with a 11 foot beam. It will be perfect to get out farther. The wider beam helps from getting tossed around too much. I can't wait to get out! *NEVER FORGOTTEN*

Its caused by the water coming up against prolonged resistance as it makes its way to shore. From time to time we have drowned boaters and capsized boats. The worst event was about 1890. A German baroque floundered as it left Liverpool. The Southport lifeboat put out to attend and all hand were drowned- about a dozen men. The boat was the Eliza Fernley I think. I've seen the memorial at the local cemetery. Blackpool and Lytham lifeboats also put out. Not too sure how they fared. It was the worst storm in decades, maybe in 100 years. If it happened now we'd all be blaming global warming, but disastrous freakish weather patterns have been around always Don't preach in my school, or I'll think in your church.
