*jots a few notes down* and giggles maniacally. :D

My God, she is evil. I think I have found my soulmate. I would say that Palin and the midgets porn video is going to be tough for a "conservative" candidate to get past.

She looks better in a dress than I do.

And she does have that kinky librarian look about her.

It's a mistake to think that poor people get the benefit from the welfare system. It's a total fraud. Most welfare go to the rich of this country: the military-industrial complex, the bankers, the foreign dictators, it's totally out of control. This idea that the government has services or goods that they can pass on is a complete farce. Governments have nothing. They can't create anything, they never have. All they can do is steal from one group and give it to another at the destruction of the principles of freedom, and we ought to challenge that concept. - Ron Paul

Come on. This guy's been nothing but a glory hound, tool, for months. He may know what he's talking about, but then again, he may be just trying to get money to score more dope for his momma, too.

The Repubs tried it in their "Contract with America" platform and tried introducing legislation in the 1990's, but were shot down.

And the man behind the "Contract with America, Newt Gingrinch, would make a hell of a lot better President than Sarah "The Commie" Palin.

Palin appears on gun rights radio talk show

She's gonna go far you watch!

Nugent, well-known for the 1970s hit "Cat Scratch Fever," told Palin from his home in Michigan that he was firing up the grill to cook up some Alaska black bear backstrap in her honor. The governor told Nugent that she thought that was "awesome."

Palin appears on gun rights radio talk show: Gov. Sarah Palin | adn.com

Nugent signed off by saying, "Sarah Palin, God bless you and your family."

I echo that sentiment.

I disagree, snaf. I think she's limiting herself politically by reinforcing the media caricature that's been painted of her and pandering to special interest groups.

I simply don't think she has the universal appeal needed to take her all the way to the top.

She's better off becoming a "community organizer" and making money off her book deals.

Well first off she's not pandering because she is a life long advocate to gun rights and she is fulfilling her governors obligations by re-sighing into law our freedom of gun rights. Second this is a new era where even the media will play second fiddle to the Internet and youtube. You watch its a gamble but I believe it will pay off. If all she gets is a book deal for herself that's fine but her interest at heart is Alaska and America. She will fight for our rights.

It is not pandering if she really believes in the rights she is supporting....right?

Do you believe everyone must have alterior motives behind everything a politician says?

Of course you do, and that is why Sarah is such an enigma to most of you guys, you just do not know how to take someone who is honest and does not Govern from opinion polls.

Universal appeal?

What is that?

Is that someone who tells you what you want to hear about "change" but once they get into office they turn their back on all of their promises like Obama has done?

Maybe Sarah Palin will never make it to the "big show" but is it not a shame that only false people can get elected these days? Obama lied, lied, and lied some more and today is not anything like the man he promised to be when he was running for election.

I would vote for Sarah because she at least has her own morals and her own agenda as well as her own idea of what things need to be done that are not swayed by opinion polls. Sarah would not wait days and days for the polls to come out before calling the Iran actions against it's people as wrong for example.....Sarah knows it is wrong without someone telling her it is wrong.

Most if not all stereotypes hold some truth.

Yup' date=' as usual TJ was correct...*extreme sarcasm of course* Sarah Palin is a poor defenseless woman without a penny to her name - Palin's PAC reports raising more than $730,000 - Yahoo! News And this isn't even counting a cent of her already amassed personal wealth, book deal, appearances, etc. etc. But what do I know, I'm just jealous. I gotta admit, I am getting a bit jealous now though. The woman is crafty.

She's gonna make a lot more when she resigns that's the whole point. Duhh...

Exactly. Being governor of Alaska and it's salary is small fries compared to what she wants to accomplish and amass.

You do realize that she can't spend that money, it's not her money and it's a committee in her name only. It's regulated by federal election laws.

My point is she has access to money. She's obviously good at raising money, too. Wasn't that what we were discussing before, how helpless and unable she was to fight those so-called ethics violations?

I don't think anyone said that she was helpless and unable to fight those ethics violations. Just that it is expensive and she's run up big legal bills.
