Well if you like cult films:

In the Realm of the Senses (genital amputation, basically Japanese porn, not for sensitive types), Fritz the Cat, I Spit on Your Grave (not for feminists), Duel, Scalpel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (i love it, even if it sucks), Pink Flamingoes (sex with roosters?), Eraserhead, Delicatessen, Harold and Maude,Eating Raoul, Time Bandits, 5 Deadly Venoms, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Brazil, and Run Lola Run (I loved this one) are all really good. Most are sick, weird. depraved or politically incorrect...but really...what would you expect from me?

A movie with beastiality and a cross-dresser eating actual dog sh!t? Are you insane????

Hell yeah I've seen it...lol.

I swear you and I were separated at birth. I've seen many of those movies and love them. The ones on your list I haven't seen I will have to check out because I have this odd feeling that our tastes in the sick, twisted, humorous and depraved are eerily similar.

In fact "This is Spinal Tap" is one of the first dvd's I ever purchased.

I also have a bizarre (and possibly even unhealthy) fascination with David Lynch's "Dune" and pretty much anything starring Yul Brynner. It's crazy....the man was only 5'8" so if he were still alive I could look him straight in the eye, but his presense in movies was so commanding it made him seem larger than life.

I also love Monty Python, Caddy Shack, and pretty much any movie of the Airplane and Naked Gun genre of comedy.

Basically I like guy movies and hate chick flicks. I don't know what that says about my psyche or ability (inability?) to maintain healthy relationships, but frankly....I don't fukking care. :)

I love Rocky Horror, too.

Wasn't a big fan of that.. Couldn't watch much of it.. To much control happening..

I do tend to like my sex and violence seperated with a thick line.. They are polar opposites after all..

I have a much longer list of stuff too. I love obscure...always have. I also love foreign films, and B rated horror movies. Sadly not many I know enjoy my film genre preferences. I hate chick flicks and I'm probably the only girl alive that hated The Notebook, The Piano, The English Patient etc etc. I fell asleep and felt nauseous in 2 of those.

Rocky Horror was fun, but i think most people have seen it...along with Clockwork Orange, The Big lebowski, the Royal Tenenbaums, I Heart Huckabees and most Monty Python stuff.

I'm a sick twisted perv and I relish those types of movies. What can i say...

I believe it was Divine and he/she was in many of John Water's films until he died.

My buddies conned me into going to some foreign love story film last year and I hated every last moment of it. I spent the majority of the movie glaring at my friends and throwing popcorn at them. I figured if I had to be tortured for 90 minutes, they could be too.

It's so good to know I'm not the only sick twisted female perv in existence.

Have any of you seen "Best in Show" directed by Christopher Guest? That's another one of my favorites.

Two of my favorite obscure or lesser known movies are "Donnie Darko" and "May"...

Donnie Darko - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

May (film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Donnie Darko has become somewhat more known because of the later fame of Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Donnie Darko was good! Ali...get the the movie The Cook, The Thief, The wife and her lover....it's Italian and fukking wickedly disgusting...no spoilers. Amelie was cute and funny....Like Water for Chocolate is romantic but hilarious, Diabolique is gooooood...it was remade, but the original is better, La Femme Nikita, Run Lola Run (german), and the motorcycle diaries was good too (Brazilian). There are lots...I'm not much of a romantic either :P

Pan's Labyrinthe was really good too (Spanish)...kind of a grim fairytale...not for kids. The Orphanage by the same maker (also Spanish) is a horror flick..it was good too.

Speaking of wretched 'chick flicks' - I had to suffer through the Jane Austen book club a few weeks ago. The only thing good about it was the hot guys.

And as for the Ya Ya Sisterhood = worst film ever. I have no idea who the crazy women are that actually like these movies.

As always occurred when he quarreled over principles in which he believed passionately, he would end up gasping furiously for air and blinking back bitter tears of conviction. There were many principles in which Clevinger believed passionately. He was crazy.

hehehe.

Did you ever see that episode of Seinfeld where Elaine hated The English Patient and in the end she skips it to see 'Sack Lunch'?

I so would have chosen Sack Lunch, too.

Yes! I saw that episode...I concur with Elaine....and I agree that sex in a tub is highly overrated.

Bath tub or hot tub/jacuzzi? I don't have any complaints about the later but would agree that the former is overrated.

Once we dipped the loofah in some Crisco, I was able to slide right out.

You have pretty nice boobs, Ali.

I guess IWS couldn't handle it :)
