Moderators IWS Posted March 26, 2008 Moderators Posted March 26, 2008 Is Harry Reid implying that decisions are being made behind the scenes to decide who will be the Democratic candidate, despite what the system determines? Things Are Being Done... by nicweb Tue Mar 25, 2008 at 04:55:02 PM PDT Molly Ball with the Las Vegas Review-Journal has Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on record talking about the party ending this primary election prior to the convention. Question: Do you still think the Democratic race can be resolved before the convention? Reid: Easy. Q: How is that? Reid: It will be done. Q: It just will? Reid: Yep. Q: Magically? Reid: No, it will be done. I had a conversation with Governor Dean (Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean) today. Things are being done. Daily Kos: Things Are Being Done... But remember, the GOP is the big, evil, group that does things in secret. Old Salt Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 But the $64,000 question is: Which candidate is being pressured to drop out? Could it be the new kid on the block? Or that old party stalwart? Politics at its "best". :D Quote Been wrong before, could be wrong now, will probably be wrong again. Don't take yourself so dang seriously. ;)
Old Salt Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I just noticed your link was to dailykos. They don't like Hillary. Quote Been wrong before, could be wrong now, will probably be wrong again. Don't take yourself so dang seriously. ;)
Moderators IWS Posted March 26, 2008 Author Moderators Posted March 26, 2008 I just noticed your link was to dailykos. They don't like Hillary. There was lots of sites to choose from. That's just the one that I picked. I first heard about it on Keith Olberman/ Democrat appologist so I'm guessing it's credible. Old Salt Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I guess the point I was trying at was that it's probably Hillary being pressured out. I didn't know it was other places. Quote Been wrong before, could be wrong now, will probably be wrong again. Don't take yourself so dang seriously. ;)

I see what you're saying, but it's wide spread enough (not as much as if it was an issue in the GOP though, the media would be all over that) that I don't think we can read that that Kos has anything to do with the way it is swaying, but you may be right.
